Problem with template upload joomlamailer -> JFile: :read:

joomlamailer version: latest 2.1.2
Joomla! version: 2.5.8
PHP version: 5.3.8
MySQL version: 5.5

Hi to all,
just started with joomlamailer and fiddle around with the templates.
I can open the existing templates.

I uploaded a new template (a tryout) but when i open the new template
i got the following error message:
JFile: :read:unable to open file: /html/joomla/administrator/components/com_joomailermailchimpintegration/templates/jleft/template.html

So i downloaded an existing template (jleftcolumn) from joomlamailer
- renamed to jlefty and uploaded it again!

But the problem is still the same: when i try to open the template i get the error message: JFile: :read:unable to open file: /html/joomla/administrator/components/com_joomailermailchimpintegration/templates/jleft/template.html

Guess it is a joomla seting problem?
I haven't got a clue.

Any idea out there?

This is fixed in the current version 2.2. Please upgrade.
