Can there be better integration than requiring a download of the MailChimp template, zipping it, and uploading to Joomailer, just so it can be sent back to MailChimp again on the way out? That seems silly.

Admin, please move this to MailChimp-Suggestions. Thanks.

Joomailer uses different placeholders for the different contents. That's why you can't just use the templates offered by MailChimp out of the box.

We have thoughts about changing the whole creating process to make it more convenient (drag&drop stuff etc.) but I'm afraid there is there is a lot on the todo list before we get to that.

Kind regards,
Pete

Hey, As followup, downloading one of the default Joomailer tempaltes, customizing it, and re-zipping for upload is not so bad. But if it could be made more noob friendly, that would be great...and that's what makes me think it would be great to leverage the MailChimp WYSIWYGGer, maybe with some string processing to replace their tags with yours.
Appreciate your awareness of the importance of the template issue.
