of course i'm on the right page. Actually what's happening is that when you save the profile edits, the page refreshes and the newsletter checkbox is gone, but then if you change pages then go back to edit profile again, it's there.
No worries I can live with that. Thanks again for getting it working with the code change. Please make that change in future versions so don't have to re-hack the code with each upgrade.

The code change will definitely feature in an update.
I can't think why the checkbox disappears and I don't seem to be able to replicate it. But if it's okay for you just now then that's good.
If you ever wanted to look into it then you should start with the plugin as that is where the checkbox HTML is generated and inserted into the page.
