Where (which file and where is it) do I find the default text so I can change it to be more relevant to the site?

Is it possible to offer sign up on more than one list?

Thanks for a great comp and plugin.

You can change the text by editing the file /administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.plg_system_joomailermailchimpsignup.ini

Why would you want to have the same users signed up to more than one list? Also regarding the MailChimp system it makes most sense to have all users in one list and set up interest groups and display them on your signup form so your users can choose what they like. This allows you to use the segmentation feature to send newsletters to a selected group of users.

Thanks Pete. Much Appreciated.

Require two lists becasue one is a paid newsletter the other is free. Do not want the free recipiants to be able to go to update their profile and in the process tick for the paid newsletter bypassing the payment process :) Delighted to consider other solutions.

What happens when a customer cancels site registration? Trust newsletter unsubscription needs to be done manually?

Fair enough. That's a good reason for two lists :)

Do you use the Joomla core signup form? How do your users pay when they want the payed newsletter?

As I understand it you would add the users to the free newsletter when they sign up using our signup plugin and once they pay they would have to be added to the payed list manually or by modifying the payment extension you are using so that they are added automatically once the payment is done.

At the moment users remain in the list when their site registration is canceled. We will add this feature to the next version so that users are removed from the list when they choose to delete their account. But depending on your payment extension this might be not enough. Most payment extensions do not delete the user from the joomla system when their subscription ends. So you would again have to delete them manually from the list or modify the payment extension to do that when the subscription ends.

Kind regards,
Pete
