Installation - Send Test problem

joomlamailer version: 1.7.2
Joomla! version: 1.7.5
PHP version: 5.2.17
MySQL version: 5.1.56

I have successfully install JoomlaMailer on 1.5.25 site but can not get it to work on a
1.7.2 Joomla Site. I get a "successful sent" message when I do a test mailout, but
never get a delievery. Is there something I'm missing or is there issues with 1.7.2?

same problem, not only the test email, but also the real list email sending.

But the I can send mail in mailchimp.com

Any help?

I also have similar issues.

a) Yesterday with our newsletter it would not send a TEST - what happens is that instead of sending the test it sent out the campaign to everyone as soon as you click the TEST SEND button!!

b) But today, it is also doing something different - it won't send anything out as it says that "No campaign list has been selected"

Which basically means we can't send out newsletters anymore.

Can anyone give any guidance on this.

I'm a bit confused - Joomlamailer has worked perfectly for us for two years now without a hitch until now.

As an update to my earlier post, I have now realised that it will let you send the campaign (ie no more error message reporting that no list selected) if you set TEST to NO before you click Campaign SEND (which was never required previously)

BUT when it asks you to conform if you want to "send the campaign for x Credits" - YES/NO - if you click NO it sends the campaign anyway. Dangerous stuff!!
