edit template problem

edit template problem

Joomla! version: 1.7
PHP version: 5.x
MySQL version: 5.


Hi, 

I have just started to play around with Mailchimp on my joomla site, and first on the list was editing the template.  When I click on edit (any of the three standard templates) I receive a Forbidden message on the edit template page  "You don't have permission to access /tmp/jsinglecolumn/template.html on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

Any ideas what is causing this??

Hi again,

Likewise if I try to createa  newsletter with details entereed in main settings, content and sidebar  if I hit preview I get a Forbidden:

You don't have permission to access /tmp/test_ags.html on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Whats going on???

I try to edit template and i get the message: Invalid input, aborting application.
I don't know what to do to address it
