- A large portion of the code was completely rewritten with hundreds of small improvements and many large ones.
- Caching more MailChimp data to reduce amount of time consuming API requests (overall interface loading time increased significantly)
- Plugin system: 3rd party extensions can now easily added to the create newsletter page by installing a plugin. (Currently available plugins will be automatically installed.)
- When a user is added, joomlamailer now creates a merge field "date added (API)" (if it doesn't exist) and populates it with the current date. This field can be used to trigger autoresponders (for example: send 2 days after signup).
- "AIM" renamed to "Subscriber Activity" according to MailChimp.
- Fixed bug in signup module that caused required radio buttons not being validated properly.
- Added option "Email format" to the signup module to allow subscribers to select their preferred format (html, text, mobile).
- Preview links on send page did not work when custom archive directory was used.
- Added support for Community Builder div layout (signup to newsletter checkbox on signup form).
